SLAM Dunkle is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and rapper crafting a groundbreaking 13-album project, beginning with Already Widely Known. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he weaves intricate storytelling, poetic lyricism, and conceptual depth to push the boundaries of hip-hop. His origins trace back to his days as a musical cyclist—riding through city streets with a trumpet on his back, absorbing the rhythms of the world around him.
Beyond performance, he is also a skilled flute maker, crafting instruments from roadside weeds and incorporating their haunting, organic tones as samples throughout Already Widely Known. Blending the raw energy of rap with the nuance of classical composition and freeform jazz, SLAM Dunkle is on a mission to redefine the art of the album, leaving behind a legacy that transcends the mainstream.
